I think Pavlos is putting colour in his hair. How can you be dark brown after being almost blonde when younger?

Not really...Remember Diana was a blonde, but when she grew older it changed to brown. She had to bleached it back to blonde according to her hairdresser.  ;D

Well considering that his father, the King, was blond as a boy and black haired as an adult, its not that curious.

They seem to have named their children after ancient Greek mythological heroes. Ie Achilles and Odysses. It is obviously a direct way of reminding themselves and the Greeks that they are in fact a Greek family. Most Greeks today are named after Christian saints or prophets ie,Constantine, Plavos, Niolaos and of course Ilias(Elias,Elijah). It will be interesting to know what the majority of Grreks thinks of their choice of names.

We have an interest in the Greek Royals. I am not very sure too many Greeks do. The monarchy has been effectively gone since 1967 from their lives and officially since the abolition of the monarchy in 1974. I would prefer Greece to be a monarchy but the Greek people decided otherwise.

Odysseas is not an unusual name.  Many Greeks have ancient Greek names.  Odysseas was the name of the late nobel laureate, Odysseas Elitis.

I think the naming of the children has been a deliberate attempt to try to identify them as Greek even though their mother was American before her marriage and none of the children were born in Greece unlike their father. I guess what is important to realise is that none of the Greek Royal Family had any Greek blood apart from Princess Alexandra of Greece, daughter of King Alexander I and Princess Aspasia. Princess Alexandra married King Peter II of Yugoslavia and was the mother of Crown Prince Alexander II of Serbia, current claimant to the Serbian throne.
