I am trying to uploads some photos to your site in JPeg format and seem to have a problem, please can you help me.

Bertie, try using the hosting website called Imageshack (http://imageshack.us/). They accept jpeg formats. Alternatively, you can convert your jpeg files into bitmap, by opening the file with a program like "Paint",  then saving it ("save as") a bitmap file... Either way should work... Hope this is helpful...
