Thank you for the link...I have this book...it is based most on political situation...there is also a new book whose title should be translated as "The final truth" and it is based on Princess Olga's diary...there she described family relations, political situation and all the things they went through in exile...imo it has a very good insight in their private lives!

Is the book based on extracts of her diary of some period or on the diaries of many years?

It is published in Serbia and for now just in Serbian...Helen is frequently mentioned based on the letters and Olga's diary which covers family relations and some of her rages against her and her husband...Wooley is mentioned in general terms and also in terms that all 3 of them were separated at one point...one being in exile,Marina in Britain where Olga and Wooley were both considered persona non grata...

There is a part when Olga describes the death of the Duke of Kent and says that she was permitted to go to London from her exile just for a short period to console her sister because the other one(Elizabeth) was living in Germany and could not be with them...

I wonder if I can order it from Seberia ? I know Wooley became very pro-Nazi , much to the distress of Helen and Olga.

True...she looked very good wearing a tiara although she herself mentioned that she had a real headache wearing the famous Demidoff tiara...

Here is a picture of her granddaughter Catherine wearing a diamond tiara:
