Hoi Teddy,

Originally from Amsterdam, Holland, I have been living in Helsinki, Finland for already 30 years. Very convenient, so close to St Petersburg, where I have been this spring/summer already six times. I know many people will be jealous of this possibility to go there so often.
I am fluent in Russian (and Dutch, Finnish, Swedish etc.) so that helps.

I only wish I still spoke Russian...I am picking up little bits and pieces now. I never learned to write Cyrillic (sp?). I hope to speak it again by my graduation from high school.

Good luck on catching up on your Russian! ;D

As Russian , I never heard about such desire to see prince Willema- Alexandr at the role of Russian Tsar.
But I would like to say that Dutch Prince looks like Alexandr I very much.

The Telegraaf?  That explains a lot: it's not a newspaper known for its reliable information.

And also in "Het Algemeen Dagblad"! :D

Hoi Allemaal, (Hi everyone)

Rudy, greetings from me too, and for the record, in South Africa many people do understand Dutch too.

Looking for someone to translate a few sentences in Russian, I did it through Babelfish and I know how horrible that can turn out. Rudy, iets voor jou misschien?

groetjes,
Miek
