Father Alexander Vasiliev was arrested and executed in 1918.

Father A. Vasilev was the priest who held Rasputin's funeral in late 1916. (Nicholas' diary mentions him). Later on, there was a father Vasilev who helped transferring the money to Tobolsk during the IF's exile in Siberia. Is the priest same one - can anyone give us more information? I am not sure, but the same priest appears in photo of Alexei at Livadia (1912), according to the Russian sources:

10 October
Today, thank God, saw an improvement in dear Alexei's condition, his temperature went down to 38.2.
After serving mass, the children's religious instructor Father Vasilev brought the chalice to Alexei and gave him communion. What a comfort it was for us. After this Alexei was quite quiet and cheerful for the rest of the day.
Everyone felt in better spirits. In the afternoon I went for a good walk with Irene and the girls. After I answered the many telegrams of sympathy.

From Andrei Maylunas's and Sergei Mironenko's A Lifelong Passion.

Is this man the same father Vasilev who helped transferring the money in TobolsK?

In her letter to Boris Solovyov, on January 24, 1918, Alexandra writes: "Get to know F.[ather] Vasilyev without fail – this is the person deeply devoted to us."

No.

Fr. A. Vasiliev, the religion teacher and Father Confessor in Tsarskoe Selo, was “Alexander”.

Fr. A. Vasiliev in Tobolsk was “Alexis”.
