The pic is the wedding photo of Robert's younger brother, and the caption says he stands in the third row...

You're just intrepid, Danjel! He looks like a good-looking gentleman. Can you translate what the article says?

It only says that this is Count Robert Douglas a german (?) noble who want to marry the ex-Queen Augusta Victoria of Portugal, the widow of the former King of Portugal.

Count Robert Douglas a german (?) noble

There were several lines of the family, but he belonged to Douglas-Langenstein line which was naturalized in Germany in the first half of 19th century due to marriage between Count Carl Douglas zu Mühlhausen and Countess Luise von Langenstein, illegitimate daughter of Grand Duke Ludwig von Baden...

Apart from the Castle Langenstein, this line of the family also had other extensive possessions in Germany, especially in Orsingen-Nenzingen,in Hegau,in the Upper Danube Valley and in Gondelsheim(northern Baden)...

It is also interesting that Count Karl Robert descendants from his first marriage to Sophia de Fine Blaauw today include many, many nobles such as Philipp,Fürst zu Stolberg-Wernigerode, Carl,Erbprinz zu Solms-Hohensolms-Lich , Franz-Clemens,Graf von Waldburg-Zeil-Hohenems etc.

I see one of her two brothers in the photo. She looked out of place as a widow in a gala occasion. I wonder what it was ?

This photo was taken on the birthday of Augusta's brother, Frederick (30 August 1933). Manuel had died about one year earlier.

Yes, they were twins, however, the caption of the picture only mentioned Frederick and I couldn't find Francis (I might be wrong), so I think he was not present.
