Today HRH Crwon Princess Mette-Marit celebrates her 39th birthday.On special request by the Princess there will be no
gun salute on occasion of her birthday as she doesn't see that fitting in light of the rercent tragedy in Oslo and Utoya.

Today is also the day the families and survivors of the tragedy on Utoya will visit the island this afternoon.

On sunday,the National Memorial day for the victims of Oslo and Utoya,a lunch for the bereaved will be hosted
at Oslo Plaza with TM King Harald and Queen Sonja as well as TRH Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette Marit
in attendance.After the lunch the National Memorial Service will be held at Oslo Cathedral.

It was only yesterday the last of the victims was interred,a 16 year old girl.The family had insisted on waiting
for the interment until the girls sister,also a victim at Utoya,was out of hospital again after suffering severe trauma.

On occasion of their 10th wedding anniversary the Crown Princely couple attended a Service at the Cathedral in Oslo.
Also in attendance were the other members of the Norwegian RF as well as dearest friends and neighbours from
Sweden:TRH Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel.
