Are they going to take out the museum, too?

The apartments of GDss Elizaveta are the same as they were restored earlier. The renovations are made with the other buildings inside the obitel, the most disgusting is that a favourite lime-tree of the GDss was deforested - the tree she liked to sit under.
The museum will be going on as it's now, the main tune is that most of the principles of the Obitel's life are lost.
Also the story with the fragmentation of the relics looks very dirty...

If the officials of the ROC supported all that who dares to contradict them? It means the State or the Moscow city authoritites are also on their side.

Today there is an official celebration of the centenary of the Marfo-Mariinskya obitel in Moscow. The celebration was planned on February 2009 but has been postponed till now becouse of the mourning on Patriarch Aleksiy II.
Princess Margarita of Baden takes part in the festivities. She is one of the GDss Elizaveta's distant relatives.

Well, it looks like Prince Charles did not attend the celebration.
There are several news videos in Russian on-line of the celebration and none of them show him attending.
Princess Margarita of Baden is shown and interviewed.

During the service, the relics of Grand Duchess Elizabeth and Nun Barbara were placed in the shrine in individual boxes (See first photo of the link: click the green camera in right lower corner of video screen). Will the arm bone of Grand Duchess Ella evenually be placed under the little window on the wrist of the icon/reliquary pictured?

Did you ask about where exactly the box with the arm-bone will be placed? I think in the Cathedral of the monastery.

Hi Svetabel,

Does the reliquary with the image of St. Elizabeth open further to allow the arm bone to be placed beneath the "window" on the painted arm of her image.

The relic is actually a part of the shoulder bone, not of the arm.
I am almost 100% certain that the relic will be placed in the reliquary "tomb" below the window located on the wrist of the icon, since this was the intention for building the "tomb".
Yes, the reliquary "tomb" is located in the main church of convent.

I am curious if the same has been done for Saint Barbara.

Thank you for the information on where the relic is be most likely placed.  The relic appears to be one of the humerus bones which is sometmes referred to as one of the shoulder bones or part of the upper arm. I should have been more specific in my post.

I also wondered if they made a reliquary tomb for Barbara. During the ceremony the placed both relics inside the Grand Duchess Elizabeth's reliquary.

Was Grand Duchess Elizabeth required to stop using her title of "Her Imperial Highness" or "Grand Duchesss" when she opened her convent? I know people still referred to her as such, but I was wondering if technically when she took her vows if she had to cede this as part of surrendering her old life? I don't recall ever seeing this addressed in any biographies of her, but I could be mistaken.
