I heard a story that Maria Sophia (The last Queen of Naples, and great aunt of Marie Jose)  warned Marie Jose not to be marry into the House of Savoy, otherwise she would end up unhappy. Any truth there ?

I heard the news that the jewels of the House of Savoy whom Queen Marie Jose put in the safe during WWII was to be returned to the family. I wonder what pieces will be in there. Also I have seen pictures that she still have tiaras and necklaces even after the jewels was confescated by the Italian goverment. were they new ?

He was certainly good looking. I think the princes of the house of Savoy was one of the best looking in the 30's.

how beautiful queen she was,her pleasant appearance reminds me of Missy of Romania-blond hair,blue eyes-i saw the movie"L'ultima Regina" several times,it is a great movie...does anyone have more photos of her??
