I know this is a really old piccie, but I do wonder about why Madeleine looks like she may have been blasted with a rather bright shade of orange tan paint? Those paint jobs were all the rage several years ago weren't they? I could never bring myself to try it.... the idea of being hosed down and turned 'glowing' sun-kissed uber - orange scared me! Is it still popular in Europe? As I have not seen any other piccies of Madeleine with such a 'glowing' deep tan...I found myself thinking of the drink tango and paint sprays!!!!!

I agree. It isn't very becoming. No, I don't think it's popular here anymore, at least not in Sweden. I remember girls talking about this a couple of years ago, but they were all displeased with the result and only tried it once.

I don't know why she likes turning her skin tan. I don't like it much.
She's prettier when she's pinkish-white.

Yes. I agree that that fake tan she had isn't very becoming, but I understand why she likes turning her skin tan. This is very common in Sweden. We are all so very pale and during the winter we almost look sick because we are so pale. If our skin looks a little bin tanner, we look much healthier.

Thanks for your explanation, Erika. Sweden has a very cold climate that can make all your skin so pale.
