Rumours buzzed but were tackled by HM Queen Silvia during the Danmark birthday bash last week as she
stated that Princess Madeleine and Jonas will not marry this year.It wasn't planned to be this year anyway either.

Rumours tackled or not,there apparently is a separation of this couple.
A girl from Norway got to story out she had a "one night stand" with Jonas while on
a skiing outing this winter and that she had no clue he already had a girlfriend

Princess Madeleine will soon leave to work in the US.Painfull and sad.

It is official.The couple seperated and asks to respect their decision not to publish details according to the statement from the Palace.
Princess Madeleine left for New York today where she will attend World Childhood Day tomorrow.
Too sad,really too sad.

It was funny that the Swedish RF keeps silent about the break-up, but King Harald of Norway (quite close relative of Madeleine) remarked with a laugh that he thought it better with a break-up before the wedding than after - when he was coming out from the opening of a centennial jubilee exhibition about Norwegian author Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson, arch-enemey of King Oscar II!

That was even before the engagement but Jonas had promissed never to do that again....

intervened and had a mother/daughter talk,as did her brother and sister.

Here's that gorgious youngest daughter of the King,and he played tricks as if he owned the world
and could get away with anything.Wrong.

It's a sad story for Princess Madeleine, but I can't understand why the girl Jonas spend one night with should be called a sl** and trash. She was not engaged to Madeleine or anybody else, so the only trash and sl** should be Jonas.

You are right in the respect that she was a "free agent" to live her own life and he was not a married man...but she did sell her story.....that was not exactly ladylike behaviour..she would have been better to issue a statement or to direct the give the money be given to charity.

HRH celebrates her 28th birthday today.at present the Princess is in the US but she will return to
Sweden this weekend to join in the celebrations of her sisters wedding
