Just ordered mine.

A hint: act quickly. Last time the DVD was available I took a night to think it over and the film was out of stock the next morning. That was four months ago.

I ordered mine this minute.

I still have it on a 4 gig flash drive that my brilliant son made for me from Laura's copy on Frozen Tears, but I know that using a region free player and not a Play Station 3 will give me a much better view of the film.

Yay!

I'm not going to go through the trouble.  Maybe they'll have it on Youtube like they did with "Rasputin: Dark Servant of Destiny".  It takes forever to load, but hey, it's free.  Someone tell me if that's illegal so I can quit doing that.

Yes, it's illegal to upload copyrighted material. However, I"m not sure if it's illegal to *watch* those uploads.

Anastasia - Actually you should go to the memorial site that is run by Laura Mabee.  It is called "Frozen Tears".  Laura spent over two years with another member of the forum putting the film onto her site with English subtitles.  It is a gem to view and Laura doesn't mind if you download it and watch it from her site.

I did that before I bought it.  My son transferred it onto a flash drive so that I could watch it on a TV screen rather than the small computer screen, but even on the small screen it is a wonderful film.

My son, who has a business in computers and knows a lot about down loading and intellectual copyrights tells me that, if you own a copy of the original (as Saruska and I now do) that there is no penalty for downloading.  That is because you have already bought the material and paid your fees.  You can download and keep it, but you can't sell it or reproduce it for commercial reasons.

I know that the price of the DVD will seem high to some and low to others, but I would rather pay about $20 USD than be fined $1000 per violation.

Natalia91 - ask Laura Mabee or even Jim Wilhelm.  I believe that they did the English translation.  I think that Jim's wife speaks or reads Russian and they might be able to help you.

Hi,
To everyone interested in this film, you can buy the DVD at the moment on Ebay, I received my copy from Canada last week (I'm from Belgium).
It has English subtitles. The sellers ID is: artpopdvd_com and you can find it under THE ROMANOVS AN IMPERIAL FAMILY RARE DVD.
She has at least 40 copies left.

I know there's lots of people looking for this movie who are having trouble finding it. You can get it on Amazon.com or ArtPopDVD.com or something like that. It is around $22.
Very much worth it. Hope this helps you who are in the above predicament!
P.S. you can also watch it on Frozentears.org, I think the whole thing is on it.
