Marie's two grandchildren were Prince David Chavchavadze and NancyWynkoop.   They did not edit her manuscript. They owned the manuscript. I was the person who edited A Romanov Diary.

from reading Romanov Diary, edited by her two grandchildren Paul and Nancy, saying, that Maria's second husband was rude, and even rude to royals alike and didnt treat her nicely.

Please post here info and images of Princess Marie of the periods 1876-1900 (before her 1st marriage) and 1919-1940 (the time of her 2nd marriage). There is a thread about her "Russian" life in the Imperial Family section:

Well, some days ago I was able to enter an old Italian school in Rhodes, which now is a public school, and I took some shots of the entrance. I hope I manage to upload them succesfully here (since I'm no expert in doing this) and I wish someone helps me identify the gentleman in the portrait and the lady in sculpture - my guess is they are Pericles Ioannides (Percks) and Marie (?) and although he was governor of the islands after WWII, I can see no way Marie could be connected with Rhodes, but I'll try to find out more.

In the meantime:
