Some info on Prince Georgiy K. I found in the latest catalogue on Princess Vera, his sister.

Prince Georgiy loved the art like his father GD KR. He even worked as a ballet impresario in New York. But in spite of his busy life he was often depressed - as the Russian revolution had an effect on him, Georgiy often repeated that he did not want to live and was sure of his own early death.... Sad

Thank you Svetabel for posting these wonderful pictures of Vera. I had seen only a few pictures of her and none of her as young woman. So I'm very grateful for your wonderful post.

Wow Shocked!Vera really was tall wasn't she?

Very tall. Smiley As all her siblings.

Great as always Svetabel.

The last photo is so funny. I can only imagine trying to get all those children seated and looking at the camera for the various photosessions. Poor Vera probably just wanted to go play!

In this photo:

I think she bears a resemblance to Marie Pavlovna Jr.

I don't know if anybody had his private papers. Certainly, Vera may have inheited them.

Vera inherited the papers of her brother Georgiy. Her collections of papers, letters, albums and other family memorabilia now are mainly in the New York Public Library. Some part of her papers she donated to the monastery in Jordanville, US.

Awesome pics!!! Cheesy Cheesy Shocked Shocked  more please? Roll Eyes Grin Grin Grin

I never seem a photo of Vera as a teen, a regular tomboy no doubt! bravo!

It funny how in the Konstantinovichi family (inc the Greek family, Queen Olga's) all the men are handsome but kind of funny looking, while the ladies are graceful (most of them!) and very pretty.
