Yes, I saw his armour in the Tower of London and they mentioned he was 6"9. The tallest English royal I ever heard of. I think Edward IV was the tallest king. James II and Charles II were quite tall too.

Charles I was small and Henrietta Maria was even smaller.

Henrietta herself was very concerned about the plight of the vertically challenged. So much so that she paid some of them to hang around the court. It made her look big!

Henry VIII was tall too - by the time he was about 15 he was taller and broader than his father.

His father was tall, but not that tall - but his great-grandfather Edward I was a giant too - called 'Longshanks'. He was about 6"3 I think.
