Where did you find that picture? I've never seen it anywhere before. It's lovely. Thank you for sharing it here, I've looked everywhere for pictures of Xenia, and they are hard to come by.

The first photo is of Xenia with her youngest child, Vasili, and the second is of her with all seven of her children. I'm going by memory, someone correct me if I'm wrong:

Rostislav, GD Alexander, GD Xenia, Vasili, Nikita (on the floor), Irina, Feodor, Dmitri and Andrei.

Men are haunted by the vastness of eternity. And so we ask ourselves: will our actions echo across the centuries? Will strangers hear our names long after we're gone and wonder who we were? How bravely we fought? How fiercely we loved?

Yes, you're correct. Thanks for the pictures. They're great. If you have any more of Ksenia and her family, I would love it if you would post them. I'm forever searching for photos of her that I haven't seen.

Hi everyone!  Smiley Does anyone have pictures they can post of any and all of Ksenia's children? I'm looking for pictures of them alone or with people, as babies, children, and adults--any pictures of or with them would be superb! I would especially like to find pictures of Irina, as a friend has asked me if I could find more pictures of her. Anyone's help is great! Thanks everyone!! Grin Cheesy Smiley Wink

Hi Sainte-Claire1875. I believe you can find many pictures of the children in various threads scattered all around the forum. Smiley
But here is one of all the children.

I'm searching Sandro's children as adults...
Here what I found:

Andrei in 1923:

Theodore and Irene Pavlovna Paley's son, Michel :

Now , a little game: who's who? (I don't have the answer!)

Second from the right Theodore, then Andrei, Xenia and Irina, but can you recognize her other brothers?

I love the picture of Irina-it reminds me of the GD's formal photos, which I really enjoy.

Yes I think Tatiana was prettier, but I think they Tatiana and Irina looked alot alike. When I first saw a picture of Irina, I saw the resemblence, and was astonished. Just my thoughts.

Is it Irina at right on this photo ? I notice that she was not so beautiful that people could say it at her time. I think her cousin Tatiana was prettier than her.

Which palace lived in Ksenia and Sandro with their children before revolution? In Ropscha?? I read in a german photobook: Ropscha, bis zur Revolution von Mitgliedern der Zarenfamilie bewohnt.
Anyone knows?
