Throughout his royal life being the illegitimate son of Carol II and Zizi Lambrino Carol Hohenzollern has been ignored. I was wondering if he has been a legitimised royal why isn't he in the line of succession to the British throne. I was thinking that he should be created Duke or Furst of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen in Germany, but someone is taking that place. Is Carol currently married? I think he would make a good monarch or head duke in some country but I do not know where? Does anyone have an idea where he and his family can start their own royal line and create their own royal family since Romania has ignored them enough?

Your Highness Queen Ena,

The person you are referring to is not popular on this section with the majority of bloggers.  I am sure he is a desent peron in his own right but he has much undermined the redevelopment of Romania via his actions and words.  This is my opinion and my opinion only!

Ilegitimate descendants of royalty are not royal, it's that simple.

while i tend to despise paul because i have seen well enough of him to realize that he's just a fool, i can't say anything about his father... tbh i'm kinda curious about him, now that we've mentioned him... anyone know what he was like?

Carol-Mircea of Hohenzollern lives ,he is 85 or 86,i don't know exactly but he is still alive.He had 3 wives and now he lives in London.He is suffering from cancer.Paul married a very interesting woman ,they call Princess Lia(i don't understand why because she is an american commoner ,she has not royal blood-yet she is very elegant and kind).I prefer her to Paul. :)Paul also has a younger stepbrother.

Yes, Mircea Carol is alive, and lives in London.   He has two sons, Paul and Alexander, the latter lives in Colorado, and was a ski instructor until he was hit by a car about a year or so ago.
None are royal.  Carol was never legimated.  He was declared to be an heir to King Carol's property in France and in Portugal, but those court decisions did not make him a prince or heir to the romanian throne

You can be a commoner and become royal - however, as Paul is not a prince, his wife is not a princess.   Paul has a half-brother not a stepbrother.

Eeek Eeek!  And Lia's.... Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Embarrassed  If ever there was a good advert for dangers of facelifts, this is it....

I found 2 articles, one full of mistakes, but with a photo at least of Mircea Grigore Lambrino (although this particular paper is doing a sort of campaign and calls all the Lambrino's "princes")

http://www.jurnalul.ro/articol_45034/an_innocent_had_gone.html

And another more balanced, correct one;
