What do we know about this eccentric pretender who claimed to be descended from Alfonso, Príncipe de Asturias and who has just died horribly in California???

 Though IMO he was a fraud, it seems to me that the world is just a wee bit poorer today with the loss of this apparently gentle, colorful chracter.  As the one comment at the end of the article says, "RIP, Senor de Bourbon."     AP.
