In my opinion, a fiasco, and if the Spanish Royal Family continues this way... monarchy will be abolished in 10 years...

I have often heard spanish people say that they were more Juan Carlists than monarchists. Lots of them have known Spain as a republic and may not be particularly attached to the royal institution. I sometimes wonder whether the throne of Spain will survive King Juan Carlos' death.

Spain loves dearly their Royals...Monarchy will survive...in fact I'd said the institution it's quite safe...luckily these royals give their people good reasons to be respected...let's hope it will remain so... Wink

I'm sorry to say that Spain's Royal Family's prestige is going down faster than we think. The ceremony wasn't at all like everyone expected, and should have been conducted in a more public way, not to mention the choice of names; I am sure more than one name should have beena dded to the already given Leonor, as it's happened throughout the times. Think twice next time Borbones...

To me the Borbones aren't as good as they were, but hey time changes everything...but I'm a bit traditionalist...

The Spanish probably have no real reason to complain about their Royals...If they don't behave as they should what can we say about the Brits ? (OK I'm ready you can start shooting me  Roll Eyes )...but that's another matter I know...

Spain is so lucky to have such a nice Royal Family...
