Siberian Barber

Has anyone seen the movie Siberian Barber (it might be Barber of Siberia, I only saw the title in Russian).
It is a poignant, good Russian film set in the 1880s and 1905. Tsar Alexander III, Maria Feodorovna and GD Mikhail are in it. Well worth watching.

"The Barber of Siberia". A beautiful story with detailed sets and costumes. I think Oleg Menshikov is a very good and passionate actor. Did you know the director/actor Nikita Mikhalkov played the part of Tsar Alexander III?

Pictures of the movie. I like movies from Russia more and more. Especially "Nochnoi Dozor". So cool!

I have seen movie several years ago, and I liked it! Especially the part when AIII arrives on the horse with Misha! :D The whole regiment or whatever laughed at  Grand Duke's words.

Definitely one of my favourite movies! I've watched it so many times :) They should do more movies like that!

That's my favourite movie EVER!!!! Love it!
Beautiful story, great actors and fascinating Russia! I have that movie and  watch it often, over and over again. Never have enough!
And the music by Artemev is sooo moving! the leitmotiv is the one of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard.
 I'm in love with that movie!

It was my picture desktop for a loooooong long time.;-)
One of the greatest scenes of this movie, definitely.:-)

btw - the same scene - Misha with his Papa ( I almost died when I found it some time ago :-D )
