it is in Beinecke album 2(or 3)-either at the end of second album or in the beginning of the third.

Funny how this isn't at all the way I envisioned the rest of this photo looking uncropped, lol

Thanks, Sarushka! It's too bad this photo is starting to polarize...that is turn into a negative,( see how the other ladies hats are fading )  though the part with the Big Pair is still okay...There is another photo from this time where TN is hard to see because of the polarization

While looking for the former photo , I found this one from the same group and one can see the polarization effecting the Big Pair's hats. I have thought these photos were taken when the girls had some of the nurses over socially for tea during the war as a treat. That would fit the other women and how they are dressed etc...but this is pure speculation

The woman in white (in the photo I posted) is Isa Buxhoeveden. This series may have been taken at Peterhof.

Really? Well you'd know, but she doesn't look like herself to me. The lady actually looks like the Anya's  relative ( I believe her sister in law, Anne ) who is often mistaken for Anastasia  in album 3( when her face is cover with her hat! lol! ) ...and younger and thinner than Isa. Interesting . There's another photo where the group is  walking about

I love info on Anna Vyrubova for my research! Posts: 925

This photo and others of the series were taken on the front porch of Anna Vyrubova's little house at Srednaia 4 Tsarskoe Selo. Sarushka, the woman in white I believe is Countess Hendrikova, the woman on the left looks like Anna (photo is very small) and the other may be Irina Tolstaya.

You're absolutely right. Now that you've said it I can't believe I thought Hendrikova was anyone else. Thank you -- I will correct the label on my file.
