Hum ... Not sure .. But it may be  , cuz'  of their story ... Henry VIII and his six wives .... I guess it's mainly because I really like Elizabeth I  , she's my fav imperial figure along with the Romanov(specially the Grand Duchesses). For me she was one of the best monarch that the world has ever seen. She was really good for England.

I agree completely with you about your comments of queen Elizabeth I, She was an
excellent Queen. And also the lives of Henry VIII's wives is very interesting, specially I
like Anna Boleyn's one

I was 11 and I saw Anne Boleyn's namein my History book (in Portuguese, Ana Bolena), and I loved her name. I made some research and the next minute I was in love with her and the Tudors. Six years has passed and I still love them very much.

I had just gotten and watched the movie The Other Boleyn Girl with Natalie Portman. Up until then I'd had absolutely no idea who Anne or any of the Tudors were. I actually thought the movie was complete fiction then I read the summary on the back of the DVD and found out it wasn't. So I did more researched and became a big fan of Anne's. While I like the movie I really like it for its historical accuracies, and I think that Natalie Dormer from The Tudors on Showtime may have done a better portrayale of Anne.

First the movie Lady Jane got me interested in well obviously Lady Jane Grey... boy I would have loved to see that mother of hers (Frances) get seriously backhanded or something... then after getting interested in Lynne Frederick's works besides Nicholas and Alexandra (first i saw of her) I ended up finding through a youtube search... clips of her as Catherine Howard... so i then got interested in Catherine Howard as well!

This still IS from The Virgin Queen. I really hated that mini series. I have rarely seen such bad acting. It bored me immensely, which speaks volumes as usually I devour anything to do with Elizabeth I.

I actually thought it WAS complete fiction - or at least almost . . .

Sorry, I mistyped a little. I meant to say I liked the movie, but I don't like it for its historical accuracies. I didn't like how they portrayed allot of the stuff.
