Ah, well, it WAS, but it simply had too much logic to be on this board!  ;D

That much is obvious...not that "too much logic" is a lot on this board...

Well, the logic has a place, it's just that the assumptions behind the logic are faulty.

Due to popular request, this is just the Russian section of Bob's library, and does not include the books that are not regularly used, which are in another part, nor does it include the dozen or two Russian history books that seem to always live in my office  8)

Not bad, glad to see that I am not the only one who has to stack books on books, and takes more than 2 rooms to hold them all !

Yay -- at long last, the fabled Atchison library!
:-*

I wonder, if I sit here squinting at the spines long enough, how many titles I'll be able to recognize? So far, the only one I can spot is Radzinsky's Last Tsar...

Is that all? My double parked shelved books have friends stacked in high piles all around my study on the floor, not including those doubled parked in bookcases in two other rooms.  At least the books are in categories which makes it a little easy to sift through. Many tomes have also migrated into my husband's study as well.

My expanding collection continually creeps around every possible interstacy available, including around the dog baskets! My pets can claim to have become literary dogs.

My neighbor is a professional military historian and his lounge room has been completely taken over by a huge compactus system. Now there is something to aspire to!

Thanks for the wonderful image FA.  A few close ups would really be nice. I don't want poor Sarushka to suffer any longer!.

Haha, I"m with Sarushka on this one! I can't recognize a single book, mostly because I think my glasses are the wrong prescription. But it's a VERY nice library!

I just KNEW someone would mention the mustard bottle. ;D
It holds the oil for the lampada hanging over the icon of St. Elisabeth.
