Now they found the big tonnel between Chesma column and Ruined Tower of Catherine Park.
They are sure that there was a big tonnel under Alexandr Palace connected with all territory of Catherine Park.
But the tonnel was walled up by bolshevicks.
So now the researchers decided to ruine the walls made up by bolyshevicks.
But from what place they should start?

Now they found the grand grand grand son of Mr. Grigoriev who said that his grand grand grand father
built some secret unit.
The construction began from 1905 till 1913.
They used about 15 bil gold roubles.
But they built only one hill with pavillion on it.
So now our recearcher are sure that  this secret unit was the undeground railway from the palace to the
Tsarskoselysky railway station.
In 1916 year one more undeground route was built in the Tsarskoe Selo.
Sokolov (who was in Ekaterinburg after the death of the family)   said that there was a drezina (sorry I do not know a proper English word , some kind of a wagon which could be driven manually) in the undeground tonnel of Alexandr Palace.

I think this tunnel has been discussed on another thread.  It was apparently never used ?  Interesting that a documentary film has been made about it. I for one would like to see it.

The TV programme came to the end.
The researchers was trying to walk undeground,
they fould several entrances to the tonnels.
In one of them , which was in the ruined tower near Alexandr Palace( which was never marked in the map)
they found an old rail. They could not keep to walk because all was filled with water.
Another entrance of tonnel was filled with water too.
They tried to dive, but they have found a wall.
So, finally,  the researches came to the conclusion that
the underground metro was filled with water by the order of Stalin.
But why NIcholas did not use it?
Nobody knows yet.
Maybe, the family was guarded  very well.
Maybe , he had a possibility to escape , but only by himself ( according to the memoirs of his driver, on the way back from stavka to the AP) but he did not want to do it without the family.
Maybe he just did not want to escape. He hoped to
live calmly somewhere in England, Denmark or somewhere else.

I must say that they  said that there were a tonnel and railway (some kind of metro)
They think that the tonnel was connected with the railway.
Now nobody can walk in the tonnel freely, because almost all entrances is blocked  just after the revolution or during the Stalin times.
The beginning of the tonnel construction , maybe, was Catherine's the Great epoque.

It is a very intresting programme. But it seems that
such programme should be continued.
Maybe they will wait for the reaction of the people.
I was impressed also with the several units in the park which were never marked in the map.
If I will have time, I will walk and try to find it in summer.

Thank you, Hikaru, let us know what you find. I have no desire to explore wet, dank tunnels but the history of the thing is interesting.  If I recall correctly, the tunnel went from the AP to the train station. I would hazzard a guess that it would have been the staion used by the Imperial Family.  I may be totally mistaken, but one story had it that it was used to transport loads of gold bars [I forget by whom and for what reason].
I hope to explore the AP park more this next visit. perhaps I too shall run accross it !

I have no intention to go into a water too.
Cause Alexander Park is not over crowded at all,
I would propose not to to go alone for the park 's investigation.
