I totally agree with the above quote. This thread is not only inappropriate but simply foolish. It might be time to open a new area called the Children's Sandbox on the Forum for such puerile questions.

What is everyone's problem? So what if this thread is foolish? We're NAOTMAA fans! Of course we're going to act silly!

I don't think Aleksandra would have been as strict as she was back then. OTMAA would have been more involved, since they would probably have TVs and they'd know more about what was going on in the world.

I think this topic has already been discussed before in another thread.

NAOTMAA lived in a whole different time. How could we even guess what they would be like this day and age? If they were born in the 1980's, then they would have been born into the USSR.

Hanging out with Paris and Nicole? Remember all, they lived in Russia. . . not the United States of America.

I don't think I can give a proper answer to the question that started this thread.  

The problem people are having is that this topic is in Tatiana's thread, when it should actually be in the Imperial Family thread... and even then, there is already most likely another topic just like this already there, but a couple of pages in.

Agreed this is on the wrong page. It seems a lot of you think that they would be like everyday American kids. (OK, hanging out with Paris Hilton is not ordinary, but...)
However, they were Royalty, and also brought up in an Orthodox culture - a way of life, and thinking which is somewhat different to what you all may be used to. No doubt they would have had TV and all the other modcons, but they would not have been the 'kids next door'.

I would want Anastasia to be my sister, it'll be better if she was the same age as me too!

I would want Maria to be my twin. Maybe Olga as the oldest and Anastasia the youngest.

I don't think they would have, because if the Romanovs would have reigned longer, and IF Nicholas II would have been the current tsar, there wouldn't have been the USSR, but Russia would be something like a constitutional monarchy, without communists taken the power in the 1910's/20's.
