No, I can't really see a scar in that photo either.  Yeah, in the 1914 formals, she seems to have quite a short fringe - suggesting the scar is higher up.
Maria~fan: yeah, I think so too, it seems something that the LP would do.

Ohh, just had a thought:
This photo from 1917 with all their heads shaved - the still appears to be no scar on Nastya's head (well to me at lease!)

I think i may have spotted her scar... you REALLY have to look at the photo when you're trying to spot it I've realized but once again i think i may have found it (it's circled)



you'd have to zoom in (maybe on your copy/copies) to possibly see but to me it looks like it's somewhere above her left eyebrow and IMO u can c something to the effect of a scar more clearly in the one where on Olga's signal they took their hats off. But hey i could be wrong!
