It is a lovely fun book.

we have Sir Pritchard Prune, 'who lived in the spacious days of Good Queen Bess, and was always trying to emulate the great men of his time.'

Cool.

I guess the mystery is now solved. Irene would have been Moretta's sister in law?

I took time but was worth the wait.

Just a brief follow-up to this item that was under discussion.  It was purchased for VERY minimal $US by a family member and has gone into our private collection, along with with documentation on this topic from here on the Forum.  I expect that it would be decades before it appears again on the open market.                                                                                                                               Regards,   AP.
