Can someone PLEASE tell me exactly where and how to get a copy of this book?
In the future, people will not say that the Greeks fought like heros. but rather that heros fight like Greeks...

I think you can get them from Arturo Beeche...no ?

The photos I heard came from a lady whose grandmother was a lady in waiting to Queen Sophie, so I thought they were private collection, not from the Benekai Collection in Athens.  ???

the book was published in Greece - Fereniki was the publisher.  If you are in Greece, try a bookstore

They could be out of it, as I heard the total printout is not large.  :(

The week before I made contact with the publisher, I had been to Athens, on my way to Mykonos.  While there I visited some bookstores (as I always do everuwhere I go) and found NO copies of the Greek royal book.  Most bookstore clerks I asked had no idea such a book had been published: "In Greece?" - was their answer when I told them I was looking for a book published BY a Greek company ON the Greek royal family!

It finally took the good offices of the owner of the hotel where I was staying (I've known her many years), who served as interpreter between myself and Fereniki.  She arranged for the publisher to ship the books to Mykonos and paid them!  I only had to worry about paying my hotel owner friend.

The afternoon the books arrived I spent in our room leafing through the pages in absolute heaven.  We did not make it to the beach that afternoon!

The book is fantastic, no doubt.  I do not speak Greek and cannot read it...but I can identify names and I identified all the photos and gave a list of each photo and its contents to several non-Greek speaking descendants of King George I.

I am sure you can...so can I. We fans of the Greek Royal family. It is the lesser known familes that really see your strength, which I think you are superb.  ;)

OK, I finally tracked down the e-mail I received from the person from which I ordered the book.

Her name is Spiridoula Nika, and her e-mail is snika@leaderbooks.com

Granted, I e-mailed her and had her reserve a copy of the book at one of their stores for me, while I was in Greece in September 2004.

But I don't see why they cannot ship the book.
Hope this helps anyone who is interested in getting the book.

Also, most of the photographs are from the collection of A. Markezini, a friend of the Royal Family, and probably a member of the Court, who collected photographs of the Royal family over many decades.

Regards!

Prince Michael of Greece. who is very impressed with the EUROHISTORY republication of MY FIFTY YEARS: The Memoirs of Prince Nicholas of Greece, has been approached by me regarding Elleniki Dynasteia.  I have offered to print the version in English they had intended to have printed.  He now has to reply to my offer and once he does so, if positively, then we can look at logistics and time-schedule for publication.
