Yes there are. If no one posts them before me, I'll try and get to them when I get home.

That's the picture. She's wearing the tiara and stomacher that had previously belonged to her mother-in-law, the Duchess of Teck.

It's the ears of wheat tiara. I don't know if it has a more formal name.  Mary Adelaide had left it to Alexander, who in turn presented it to Alice as a wedding gift.

You're welcome. I've never seen a picture of Alice at Bertie's coronation. The Connaught women were photographed togerther, Beatrice & Ena also. I would think somewhere there must be a photo of her. Although I've never seen any photos of Helena, HV & ML from Bertie's coronation either.

The tiara was slightly altered at the time.

Could anyone post a photo of Alice at the coronation of George VI, 1937 ?

Why was Queen Emma not invited for the funeral of Edward in 1910? She was a Dowager Queen afterall and was at the time in England.

I'm reading "Kings Without Thrones" by Geoffrey Bocca and he mentions that she was there.

Don't know how accurate that info is.

From reply #56 - Queen Emma came over from Claremont house with little may (Lady May Abel-Smith) to watch the procession from the roof of the apartment in Henry III Tower.

Don't know if this is what Bocca was referring to or if he meant she was officially invited.

Princess Alice and her husband at the coronation of Juliana in 1948 with the other royal guests.

Could anyone identify them ? At the first row from the bottom, is Queen Louise of Sweden and in the row behind  the second  the King of Sweden. Any help would be appreciated !!!
