Princess Alice and her husband at the coronation of Juliana in 1948 with the other royal guests.
Could anyone identify them ? At the first row from the bottom, is Queen Louise of Sweden and in the row behind the second the King of Sweden. Any help would be appreciated !!!
In the first row: Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone, Crown Princess Martha of Norway, Princess Margaret of Great Britain, Crown Princess Louise of Sweden, Princess Margaretha of Denmark (sister of Martha of Norway and wife of Prince Axel of Denmark)
Second row: The Crown Prince of Sweden, The Crown Prince of Norway, The Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg
Third row: unknown, The Earl of Athlone, Prince Axel of Denmark, Prince George of Greece and Denmark

Some high-quality photos of Alice while in Canada. On the first photo, you can see the photos on her desk. They include her daughter and son-in-law, sister-in-law Queen Mary, behind that her mother Helen and to the side, her father.

Thank you very much granduchessella. On that same first photo at the far left you also see the picture of Princess Alice (middle) with her aunt Emma the Queen Mother of the Netherlands (left) and her daughter Lady May Cambridge (right) walking by the sea in Scheveningen the Netherlands.

Your have good sight, Royal Netherlands
It's indeed very clear to see it is the photo where they are walking on the beach... Btw, do you have more photos of Alice at the coronation of her great-cousin Juliana in 1948 ? The group photograph is really stunning !!

Re: Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone
Thank you Luc, I just love spotting pictures inside pictures! Yes I have some more of Alice and her husband during the coronation of Juliana in 1948. Here the are!
The Royal guest at a galaconcert given because of the coronation of Juliana. Princess Alice is in the far right corner of the picture next to Prince George of Greece and Princess Margaretha (Axel) of Denmark. The others are from left to right: Crownprincess Martha of Norway, the later granduke Jean of Luxembourg, Princess Margaret of England,King Gustaf Adolf of Sweden,Queen Juliana, Prince Bernard, Queen Louise of Sweden and Crownprince Olav of Norway.
The Royal guest during the coronation of Juliana on the front row. Princess Alice is at the one side of Gustaf Adolf and her husband is at the other side.

Thank you both for your contributions. The shot from the concert is quite detailed. Thank you RN ! And thank you, Laurra, for the last one of Alice in coronation robes.

with the Duchess of Gloucester--Alice had been married for 30 years when the Duchess married her nephew Henry
Is there any info on the tiara Princess Alice is wearing in the photo above ?

Re: Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone
I don't know the name of it, but I think it's one that she was photographed wearing on several occasions. It's not the ears of wheat tiara inherited from the Duchess of Teck--I don't know the provenance of this one. I
think
it may have been a wedding gift.
I think that it's this tiara (posted on pg.1 by Royal Netherlands)
