Hello from Italy!
Yes, Emanuele Filiberto took part in a dancing show.
In the article there is a little error, the correct name of this show is "ballando con le stelle".
Sincerely I don't like this program.  :-\

I have already said that I'm not a big fan of this program, but I have a very good estimation for Emanuele Filiberto, and I have heard right now that he won the edition 2009 of "Ballando con le stelle" (Dancing with the stars) with the beautiful Russian dancer Natalia Titova.

Hi,

Now, did he win the contest because he is a "Prince" or did he in fact really know how to dance well???
We here in Canada don't get the Italian version of "Dancing with the Stars", so can't tell if he was any good...

75% of the vote is wonderful;  to bad Umberto & Maria Jose didn't receive that in 1946 when they really needed it!

I have not followed very much this program, but I have heard that he is a very good dancer.
Totally agree with you!, unfortunately King Umberto II and Maria JosŤ didn't receive 75% of votes in 1946.  :(

Yes vecchiolarry, that was exactly what the article pointed out, that EF succeeded where his ancestors failed.
Winning "something" by 75% of the popular vote.
And not because he's a Prince, you should see him.....there hasn't been a overworked pelvis around since the "King" himself.... ::)
He's is good!They both were!Darn good.And,I must admit,symphatetic too.It was a "WOW Baby" experience.. ;D
and I usually don't like, let alone watch that sort a thing..yuck..but this time..I got stuck before I could yuck..

In 2009, Emanuele Filiberto participated as a contestant in the 5th series of Ballando con le Stelle, the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars. Accompanied by professional dancer Natalia Titova, he went on to win the contest.

I do not believe this is something the Crown Prince of Italy or supposed Crown Prince of Italy needs to be doing.

I have to agree...I'm happy for him, but I have already said that I'm not a "big supporter" of this program...maybe because I don't know how to dance.  ;)
