How is this done?

Thanks!

Forum Admin:
Good question Penny!
When you write a posting, you will see in the lower row of icons, the 4th icon from the left is a little picture. you click that and get code using img. (I cant write the img in brackets []as the software thinks its real code,) but in between the two codes you put the ENTIRE url address of an uploaded picture [ie: http://www.PennyWilson.com/images/pennyspic.jpg] so it would look like bracket img brackethttp://www.PennyWilson.com/images/pennyspig.jpgbracket /imgbracket.

If people do not have a place to upload a photo to the web, you may email it to us and we can put it on our server and send you the address to use for your post.

GUIDELINES for sending us your pictures
1. .JPG or .GIF formats only please! (for real photographs jpg is the better quality file)
2. Please use only 72 dpi image sizes and keep the image size to about 4"x4" as the images load to the size you make it. Bigger images would exceed the boundaries of your posting page.
3. Keep the total file size down, please. Try to keep them no more than about 100k....large files, like 1meg, would slow things way down. we LOVE files between 40 and say 80k, but even up to the low 100s can work ok.
4. Be a little patient with us....we may not always have time right away to upload the file for you, and even when Im free to do it, the whole process can take me upwards of ten or twenty minutes depending on what you send me.

This is so frustrating! I have downloaded some photos to my Webshots account and they still will not come up on this site. I've clicked on the image link and copied and pasted the link between the img letters, but I get nothing. Please advise!!!

Sergio:
Try to change the [IMG] from upper case to lower case [img]. For some reason if they are in uppers it won't show. You can always hit the preview box to see if your pic shows up before you post it.

Still doesn't work. All that comes up is a white box with a red x through it, where the picture should be.
