It was announced this morning that there have been 10 arrests in the Politkovskaja murder case.

Yes, and already people are heaping scorn on these arrests.  Nobody believes she was shot by the Chechens with the intention of discrediting the Putin government.  Didn't the Bolsheviks do the same thing with the murder of the IF?  Round up a bunch of people who played no role, convict them and shoot them?

Those arrested are mainly retired- or activeemployees of the Home Office/or/and FSB.

They also reported that the main person, and mastermind of this findish crime is living abroad...they haven't quite caught up with the person, but are hot in pursuit!

Thank you for posting this link, Lucien.  It's hardly surprising that Putin's phony investigation is already beginning to unravel.  But the Russian government certainly knows how to play on the suspicions of ordinary Russians -- claiming that the assassination was orchestrated from abroad!
