Can anyone give me a list of movies about the Romanov's, specifically Alexei? I've looked but haven't had very much luck. I tried to find movies that were Alexei centric but can't find any. Also movies that are about the whole family are good too, as long as they have a decent amount of Alexei in them.
I've already seen * Rasputin-Dark Servant of Destiny
                        * Nicholas and Alexandra
                        * The Romanov's: An Imperial Family (Romanovy: Ventsenosnaya Semya)
Any others would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou!

Well, there is a film that NAOTMAA appears, it's a cartoon and talks about Anastasia survival. It's EXTRA cool but it's Anastasia-centric!

Alexei appears in the scene that Anastasia go to the palace and when she dreams when she is traveling to Paris.

"Anastasia (1997)"

Ooh, the first post sounds so familiar to me somehow. Cheesy

There are several Russian ones that I like, I suppose you would be interested in his dramatization (I mean not only real footage of him but movies), there is 'Rasputin and the Empress' from 1932 as well. I will try to make a list however. I think that there are plenty of threads in our section '  Films and TV shows about the Romanovs and Imperial Russia'.

Welcome to the Forum!

Thankyou! For a long time I was only really interested in Anastasia (even though I had seen one movie of her, the cartoon one mentioned above), but some how, I can't remember exactly how, I became very interested in Alexei, I just think he's (from what I've seen and read so far) a very interesting person to learn about and I've been having trouble finding more movies about him.

I like it too! I just realized while I thinking about it earlier today that I never wondered what happened to her family (in the movie not real life, I found out some how, I'm just not sure how) after I'd seen the movie. I mean sure I was pretty little when I had first seen it, but I own it and I've watched it many times over the years and I've just never thought about it.

I watched it when I was younger too! I think that I was 7-8 years old! Now I'm a teen!!
And I think that her family in the movie didn't scape of the palace and were killed.

Most likely. I was probably around the same age when I first saw it as well.

The movie Rasputin staring Alan Rickman and Ian Mckellen.   Alexei is a narrator of the story.  He is in a lot of scenes.

Is that the same movie as Rasputin- Dark Servant of Destiny? 'Cause I'm pretty sure those same people are in that one too, and I've already seen it. If it is or isn't the same thankyou anyway!
