I think Ella and Serge are excellent subjects to study in psycology. They both seemed simple, but yet so complexed.

IMO, all people have complex natures, so all of us could be great subjects for psychology.
I’m wondering where they shot those formal pictures; a certain room in their palace or a photography studio?

I saved them from a site devoted to Romanovs, but perhaps the site mentioned by Sveta is much better.

Thanks for your quick, gentle answer, Svetabel. Yes; I've don't noticed the watermarks at first.Now, I see them clearly. Generally the Hesse-online archive photos are very litle and with a noticeable red mark on them. Evidently the person who took them from there cropped the pictures, which makes them look bigger (at least in my PC screen)
