Well, yes, sometimes...But in my case I didn't want to sound offensive myself. Maybe the fact that English is not my first language could bring some confusion. Ella, serge with Gd Alexis Alexandrovich, Alexander III and little GD Mikhail Alexandrovich

It's August 1888 year, when Alexander III with Mikhail visited Sergei and Ella in Ilinskoe.

Which Jubilee exactly? They had been twice on her Jubilees.

I am sure they took them at both times (at least I think Ella did).

I often did wonder why there is no wedding photo of Ella & Serge. As date wise, which is the first sitting of Ella after her wedding ? Did she do one with her siblings before they left for Darmstadt ?

I'm not sure who Ella  was in mourning for in this photo ... ?
