No, but here's a taste.  Of note is the start where she gushes about her "wonderful childhood", while this very week claiming her late mother beat her and called her the Antichrist and later on where she is chauffeur-driven past Buckingham Palace chomping on a bag of sweets exclaiming "that's my window!" as she laments about having it all and losing it.  Almost in the so-bad-it's-good category.

It almost looks as though she's watched too  many doco's on the RF and wants one of her own too.
She makes out that her wedding day was the biggest in history.

This morning on my drive to work I listened to a radio interview with the Duchess of York, part of her media tour to promote "Finding Sarah".   My fellow forum members will have gleaned from earlier posts that I am no fan of the duchess; however, I have to admit - rather grudgingly - that by the time the 20 minute interview ended, I thought to myself "she's quite likeable, actually.  Damaged, no question, but likeable." Perhaps its nothing more than my nationality - we Americans have a bad habit of being endlessly forgiving and are always rooting for the down-trodden.  

She was going on about how the News of the World fiasco had finally caused her to reach rock bottom, and that she had realized it was she alone who was the cause of her insecurities, which in turn drove her to make such poor decisions.  She came across as if she had genuinely made some progress.

But then if I put on my "negative" hat for a moment, I wonder if any real progress has been made or if this is nothing more than a repeat of earlier "breakthroughs".  I'm reminded of an aunt of mine, now deceased, who spent a lifetime blaming repeated bad decisions on various early traumas, then was constantly launching a new plan that was absolutely certain to change her life, yet never resulting in anything different.  That cycle repeated for over 30 years, and I can't help but wonder if the Duchess of York will follow that path.

I've always felt the same as you, CHRISinUSA. Beyond my better judgment, I have watched a few snippets of an interview she did to market her new show. You know what, it hasn't changed my opinion of her in the slightest.

This woman is doomed to repeat her own history. I am done with her and will give her no more of my attention. It would probably take her passing for me to contribute on this thread again.

Regarding your last paragraph- I couldn'y agree more. I have come up against this personality type on several occasions and over the last 20-30 years their patterns of behaviour have not changed one iota and what may be viewed as quirky or amusing in a 20-30 year old becomes inappropriate in later years. They have little need to change because there's a lways a whole new audience out there who have yet to experience their repetoire. They present themselves in numerous roles and enjoy nothing more than being centrestage, the tears they shed so easily are often more about performance than reality.When their audience starts to doubt their more questionable scenarios they do a hasty exit often leaving one with the feeling of having been duped but also a sense of relief because too much of their company can be very wearing. I am NOT saying their performance is in any way an attempt to deceive-IMO it comes from a very deepseated need for attention-maybe acknowledgement is a kinder description. They would have learned as children, that if they acted in a certain way they were noticed in a positive way and being noticed confirmed their existence, it made them feel valued. I can't imagine why any person of this personality type would willingly change the only way they know of gaining positive affirmation although their way of being carries a pretty hefty pricetag.

I think Oprah is a big fan of the British Royal Family and of course
Sarah.. the "rogue royal " is  a very real link to it all for her.... who knows what
royal gossip  Oprah hears  off air ?
 I watched Oprahs Royal Wedding Party  and it was very entertaining,
every lady in the studio wore a hat, all specially purchased for the show,
everyone was dressed to the nines.
There was a report from Catherine's home village ( not far from London )
from the village pub... from the shop where we learned of Williams favourite
sweets... hariboo jelly babies  it seems
Back in the studio Oprah said .. bring in the jellies  and liveried waiters served the entire
audience with the sweets,l
 Diana's ex chef was on and we learned that the Queen is a big fan of chocolate
and  a special treat... Chocolate Biscuit Cake...
 Once again the whole audience were served with the cake....
champagne etc  they were having a ball.
The ring was mentioned... next minute  diamondique  replicas of the huge ring
were brought in and  handed out to the entire studio audience..

There were live interviews with   a friend of Prince Williams,
with  India  a lady who as a teenage girl was one of  Diana's bridesmaids...
Oprah is the Queen of American chat shows and she really pulled out the stops.
 No expense was spared and it was TV as only a big, rich American TV studio can produce.

Poor Sarah....She has fallen and risen more times than the tide at the Bay of Fundy...

For Pete's sake,what's the fascination with this dumb creature!!??She isn't Royal,anymore,just produced two
birds of a feather and makes an complete A of herself,and the RF if she's lost it again.Really,such a
cheap thrill is unbelievable!!And still she seems to have,what?Fans?Tells a lot on those,for crying out loud.


 

It really IS the cheap thrill, as far as I'm concerned, dear Lucien.  Can't stand the woman personally - she has dragged down the reputation of the royal family and knows no bounds in her quest for fame and money - but she's a bit like a train crash...you can't help looking...at least I can't.
