Title: Sims 3 Romanovs and/or buildings from their time : D!!!
Post by: I-TsarevichAlexei13 on May 28, 2010, 11:56:14 AM
Hello fellow AP forum Members! :)

I-TsarevichAlexei13 here, wishing you a happy Friday! :)

I had a idea, since we have a Sims 2 thread here, why don't we put a Sims 3 thread here too. :)

Here you can post all your Sims 3 Romanov creations, for others to see, and admire :)

I'll post my Alexander Palace that I have been working on :)

http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=2404477 (http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=2404477) (the linkage to download the AP) : D

some images of it that I took.. lol ( I bulldozed the Central park in Sunset Valley... lol the 64 x 64 lot. So the palace is actually quite larger then it really should be.. but hey more room for Alexandra's boudoir, and Nichola II's enfilade of rooms :)

above, a view of the Garden Terrace and some of the covered Balconies, which i noticed.. lol ... XP (their missing columns*)

above, a view aerial of the Front facades, and the colonnaded portico. :) the middle garden is missing, I shall put that in soon. :)
I tried very hard to make it as accurate as possible, to the arched windows at the top floor, to the roof colour.. which I tried to make not to high.. lol

above, a view of the side facade of the Imperial Wing, with  Alexandra's infamous balcony. : D

Above, a view of all the balconies.. They were so fun to make *sarcastic face.. no just kiddin'* : D

Roof view, i noticed after everything I had built, the engfilade of the (semi-circular Hall, Billiard Hall, and the Portrait Hall) are much more smaller then they should be * *FAIL* XD

I have A LOT ahead of me... lol

I still haven't filled the interior yet...

All I did was the exterior, and the inside walls :)

But anyways, this thread isn't just for me to post my new Sims 3 Romanov creations :)

Come one Come All! Post away!

Happy Posting!!!

It took I'd say .... welll yeah... lol a while would be correct. I haven't even furnished it yet. I did a new landscaping one, with trees, and gating around it, and the infamous oval, (octagonal) garden in the front drive. So it is coming along. I have tried my hand at Livadia, but I miserably failed XD.... it was epic! anyway, rosieposie, do you have sims 3 creations, if you do why don't you post them here too ? i'd love to see them. I made two different renderings of my romanov family. Their getting better looking as I try it again and again. I think I got Nicholas down to a T, Alexei is the only one who i think i still need to work on.. lol

But anyway! Happy Posting! and to simmers out there! HAPPY SIMMING! XD

God Speed! God Bless!

UPDATES!!!!!!! :D

I have been working on this for a while now LOL
and I have many of the rooms done, the snapshots I am about to show, are earlier renderings of the main floor.

So bear with me xD

Hope you like and Enjoy, most are aerial shots, because the rooms are far to small to look into LOL

Above, I basically finished most of Alexandra's suite of rooms. lol

Above again (The Imperial Bed Chamber, The Mauve Boudoir, The Pallisander Drawing Room, The Maple Drawing Room, and Alexandra's Formal Reception Room.) :)

Above, a somewhat aerial view of the three main Parade Halls, the furniture wasn't finished yet LOL

Above, a nice aerial shot of the Formal Reception Room.

Hardest room to replicate :D The Maple Drawing Room ... lol

Above, three of the rooms of Alexandra's suite, The Bed Chamber, Mauve Boudoir, and Pallisander Room. :D

Nice shot of the Imperial Bed Chamber, I tried to make it as accurate as possible, even to the pink fabric on the inside of the arcade :D

All of Alexandra's rooms, I think the dressing room, and that part was still not done xD

Nicholas II's New Study :D
tooooook a long time :D

Aerial shot of the New Study, without its fireplace. my Sims 3 kept crashing on me LOL

Above, a nice shot towards Nicholas II's desk in his study, yes the Maple and Study are only one floor high, its hard to duplicate something that large in sims 3, sims 2 is better with that xD

In the December 2010 issue of the official Sims3 Magazine in Germany there is the famous Basilius Church from the Kreml and the wondrful Katharinenpalace.

You can upload it with your SIMS Launcher and place it in your City... your Sim needs 562771 simoloneons to buy the palace empty and 1288452 simoloneons to buy it with furniture !!!

The Bassileus Church is a community building with some Art inside to explore.

Greetings
