Are there any fictional characters that you would like to see in Imperial Russia?
Mr Bean somehow falling through a time portal is an idea. He and Rasputin would be an interesting mix!
-
The TARDIS could drop the Doctor and Co. there for an adventure.
-
Knowing modern Doctor Who, they'd have an episode where Graham anguishedly has to be of Yurovsky's men that shoots them. Like they did in the Rosa Parks episode.
-
And, of course, they would have to let it happen, to preserve the Web Of Time.
-
I tried to put a screen cap from Mr Bean, comparing the little girl who takes off with Bean's Swim trunks with The Little Imp (Anastasia)
Trying again:

Your video wasn't working, so I removed it, but left the link to it.

Thanks, Tim.
As i said, I think she could be a 1990 version of Anastasia but Mr Bean's Little Imp in Yellow Swimsuit probably has a lot of explaining to do about having Beans swim trunks. TV Tropes calls it "Gone Swimming, Clothes Stolen".
That's common in a lot of shows. But, yeah, I wouldn't like to be Little Imp in Yellow Swimsuit a few minutes after Act One of that episode is over.
That swimsuit reminds me how little people thought about the dangers of skin cancer just 29 years ago.

Seeing pictures of OTMA smoking is disturbing, considering what we now know about it. If they'd lived, they might have been candidates for lung cancer.

And even today, lung cancer is hard to treat. In the time period when OTMA would have gotten it - and with their smoking, they would have - it would have certainly been fatal for all of them. Assuming that they also like alcohol as was common back then... well, that's playing Russian Roulette with an automatic pistol.

And there was no real way to detect it back then. By the time a diagnosis was made, it was far too late to do anything about it (which was to remove the infected lung and hope for the best).

Anyone who thinks smoking is cool should watch this (the daughter is "The Sleepover Club"'s Morgan Griffin):

Yeah, we know that now. However, 100 years ago, that was not the case. They simply didn't know how bad smoking was.

*hug*
Yeah my paternal grandfather died of cancer (non-lung) brought on by smoking, even though he had quit years before.
-
By the time he quit, he was past the point of no return.

the mind of Emperor Palpatine from "Star Wars" being put in the mind of Nicholas II in 1905 is something i am writing. No force powers but even so, Palps' skills with politics and manipulation will prove formidable for not-Nicholas.
-
More fitting to put his mind in Lenin or Stalin, IMO.
