Hello Guys!
I just thought I would post that I actually updated the site today; there is some more stuff to poke about and see.
I would like to Thank Annemarie, who is a member here for her amazing contribution!

I was using a school computer and their screen resolution was about a 5.

I do appreciate the heads up though. Speaking of that Coming Soon Area... It really is... coming that is.
I don't know if soon in the right word. But I hope to have it up soon. :-/
Cheers! ;D
What is it about? :)
Secret for now ;)
Thank you so much for your encouraging words! With university officially out (as of last Wednesday) I now have time to do all the updates I've been saving up since September! I'm currently re-doing the layout design, so I'm one step closer to updating! :)

I don't think there are many more movies, one could find.
I'm sure Frozentears has the biggest collection of them you can find online.
Hello!Thank you very much :D I appreciate your sweet compliments. The answer to your question is Richard Rodney Bennett and Christopher Gunning. Christopher was uncredited for his works, however, he did not contribute as much as Sir Richard Rodney Bennett. Many thanks go out to our sweet Annemarie for sending me the soundtrack to share!
First, I appreciate very much the site... who wrote the soundtrack of the film? I like it.
You should be proud of yourself, Laura! It's a wonderful (even more so) site and I can't wait for more!Aww *hugs*
I have it on my "favorites" list and will keep coming back for more! Congrats big time! :D
Janet R.
I do love anime. I look forward to see what you have going! :)Great! I can't help but think that it might be thought to be in poor taste.
And thanks for the compliments. I've been working on a update, more to come soon!Excellent! I'd love to see what else you have to show.
Thanks Dmitri!
There is a small update to the site tonight.
Thank you RF4E!
Unfortunately the site is on a temporary hiatus while I'm in Russia. But once I get back, I'll update! ^_^
Laura, I hope when you get back we get to hear all about your time in Russia and you post the pictures you took. I can't wait to hear all about it.Thanks so much. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v288/n_sane_peace/Smiles/sweatdrop.gif)
Perhaps this has been asked before of you, but I've been wondering: how was the name Frozen Tears chosen for the website and what is its significance? You know, I actually came up with the name when I was in high school. I had been planning on a website for a number of years, and when I thought of this name it just stuck. To be honest, I have been debating about renaming the site for sometime now. I am worried that it may sound to .... melodramatic. I was debating new names such as weseven.org or redeveloping naotmaa.org, etc. I am unsure now. When I asked about redeveloping the site I got a lot of feedback with people who preferred "Frozentears.org". So I may just stick with it, what does everyone think?
Is there any way to download the documentaries there? oh please, I'm so desperate to get to watch all of themYes mame! Just right click>save as the links to the clips.
Laura, thanks for sharing the photos from your trip. *edit* Wonderful photos, Laura! But I'm so disappointed that I can't click on the ones on Facebook, particularly the ones taken on the Children's Island. I've never seen any taken so close to the little house! Thanks EmmyLee! I apprecaite your kind compliments! I'm sorry the images didn't enlarge. I can post the full ones on here once I get home to my computer.
As for the files, my only concern is quality. Would the process of compressing the files diminish the video quality? If not, I think I'd rather they be done that way and stay all in one file rather than split.I agree 100%. I am not willing to loose quality. If I take a high quality file (that is about 1.6Gb), and split the file into four 400Mb pieces (say with either winrar/winzip or hjsplit.) and then put the pieces online to download. Once someone downloads all the pieces and puts them back together again, the file will be 1.6Gb.
I admit that I'm still confused about the splitting. Would the end result be several different files to download and then you watch one video segment and move on to the other? Assassin of the Tsar was split, wasn't it, as well as other videos? That method works for me, although if possible, it's nice to have just one video. Sorry, I'm not much help.I apologize, I think I just made it sound more confusing than it really is. I tried to edit my earlier post to make it sound more clear.
I love you Laura!!! I love the audiobooks & can't wait to read the interview with Sarushka!
Updated the site today!
There are new items under the audio category!
Also, as a little surprise there is an upcoming interview with our very own Sarushka!
Sorry to be working backwards on this thread. (I'll never get through all the interesting topics on the AP site!)Haha, no worries! I really appreciate your input! I was debating the name change for awhile too. It's great to get everyone's feedback. After all! This site is for you guys! :D
Re: Name Change - Please don't change Frozen Tears. Your title is PERFECT - sad, beautiful, and evocative of so much of Russian history. I can't imagine how it could be improved!
This is a wonderful site, Laura! Thank you for all your hard work!
