Hi!  I may be going up to visit my parents who live in Spring Valley. If I get a chance I may try & find the Church.   I beleive they have a gift shop there.

I was just watching The Night Gallery on the Mystery channel & they had an episode on called Rare Objects.  Its about a man who "collects" famous people who have disappeared.  At the ever end he shows his collection to the newest member of his collection & the first person he shows is Anastasia. She is sitting in a chair doing needlework.

Actually knitting is making a big comeback!  A lot of celebrities knit.  I taught myself to crochet a few years back & would love to learn to cross stitch.  Speaking of males & needlepoint Rosie Greer (football player) does needlepoint and has had a book out about it.   ;)

Hi Katieann, I too would love to see some of Alexandra & the girls handiwork.  I think I read on AP that Alexandra also taught Alexei how to knit.  Which is pretty neat. Being an avid crocheter I would love to see their work.

Here is one of the "bad" Anastasia's. Supposedly the family gets turned into instruments! And it has a happy ending. Hmm...   ::)  It is too funny.

Ralph Fiennes would not be half bad as Nicholas!

Not sure if anyone mentioned this before, if so I apologize. I watched Discovery's The Last of the Czars and I belive that Ralph Fiennes did the voice for Nicholas.  I think he was great exactly how I imagine Nicky would sound.

Thanks Lisa for posting the pictures of Irina.  I can't really see a resemblence of Tatiana...only in certain pictures.  But I think Tatiana was prettier. Irina had a stricking face though.

Your quite welcome!  I was doing other research on Alexandra Iosifovna so I figured I would research this as well.  Here's the wesbite to the church there.

Does anyone know where I can find a picture of the formal engagement photo of Irina Youssoupov?  I would love to see it.  Thanks in advance!
