Thank you nena for the warm greeting!  And that's interesting that you said there was a thread about it......for some reason it didn't come up when I searched for it.  But I'll look again!

Having Fun! / Age Progression...

Hello everyone,
I used to write on this board frequently before I became busy with other endeavors.  But I've returned (I confess as a bit of a lurker) only in the past month or so, and I had always been wondering about age progression pictures of the Imperial children.  Has anyone ever attempted to do this?  I would think it would be relevant in order to put many claimant cases to rest (in addition to the family's remains having been found).  Even if it's not something that needs to be done, it would still be something of great fascination, at least for me.  I did search the forum for this topic, and it seemed to only appear in a few random posts on an Anna Anderson thread.  I believe something was said along the lines of someone in the forum possessing age progression photos of the girls.  Do these really exist?  I'd love to see them if they do!

I know this is an old thread, but I just read Dctalk3185's post, and I have to say that his ideas were fascinating to read, and quite plausible.  I hope he keeps us updated on his ideas and possible development and such!

Olga Nicholaievna / Re: What would you like to read about Olga?

I would love to read either a great fiction novel about her or a full fledged biography.  I'd love a fiction novel centering around Olga (or any one of the other GDs) because it really could be a wonderful chance to create an exciting storyline.  Along the lines of a full biography, I'd definitely want it to cover her life from birth until her death, with as much development of her personality as possible.  I would want to feel by the end of reading it that I was able to "know" Olga---as if I, myself, had met her and experienced her as a real person very much alive today.  Of course, if there was any previoulsy unpublished information/documents that would shed more light onto her life that would be awesome!  Oh and of course this biography would have to include a fantastic section of photographs!

Wow, it's been such a long time since I've posted on the board, but I couldn't help but notice how striking those pics were of Scarlett Johanssen (which someone posted on the thread a while back).  I think they were from "Girl with a Pearl Earring."  I was just struck by how amazingly similar her features were to Tatiana---to the point of  looking almost genuine!   :o  However, she might be getting too old now to play Tatiana.  Actually, someone else who struck me as being able to play one of the older two GDs was Jessica Biel in "The Illusionist."  She wears period clothing very nicely, and her whole demeanor in that movie struck me as someone who couldv'e been a good actress for the older two GDs.  That all being said, I do think it would be better to cast young unknowns as OTMA.  That way the audience wouldn't get caught up in the idea of some big name and would be able to focus more on the actual depth of the character.

This one I didn't do so good a job on.  The leaves blended in too much with the background and I couldn't distinguish them. :(

Oh Missy, you did a great job!!!  That last one didn't have a good quality to begin with.  But I think you did a great job with it!  Here's one I did.  I finally was able to upload one of mine to my photobucket account.  For some reason I usually can't. :-(  Oh well.  Here it is.
