Just read on the internet (British news source) that some of Hitler's relatives have had their DNA researched and the results seem to indicate that they (and therefore Hitler) are descended from not only Jewish ancestors but African as well!  I had suspected the Jewish but never African.  What does everyone think of this??

My maternal grandfather is from Belarus, Minsk.  However, there's some suspicion as to whether he really was my mom's father...it's a long story.  I was just wondering if anyone knew where a person could turn to have their DNA researched to see what's in that DNA stew??  Thanks..

I have just been having the best time in Google book search, looking at old out of print and out of copyright books and magazines about any number of subjects, including our Romanovs.  Just go to Google, type in your search term, select book from the "more" list at the top, and there you go!  I've tried Romanov, Romanoff, Tsar Nicholas, etc.  You'll be amazed!

What a great idea, to meet people from this area!!  I for one would love to; how do we start?  Anyone out there??
