Does anyone have a photo of this palace belonging to Grand Duke Peter??  Does it still exist today?  If so, what is it's use?  This was the palace where part of the Romanov family was held by the Soviets, before their escape.

Maybe I have missed it but I haven't seen any discussion on the Yelagin Palace, even though there are pictures of it on the site.  What can anyone tell me about it?  Does it still exist and if so what's it use now?  Looks like a great place.

I just finished a fairly recent book titled IMPERIAL LEGEND, by Troubetskoy.  An interesting look at the mystery surrounding Alexander I's death.  Anyone else read it??  What is your opinion?
