I would like to know more about Queen Ena.  I will start off with another question I saw.  What fight did Queen Ena have with Queen Frederika?  Did it have something to do with the marriage of Juan Carlos and Sophia?  I include a pic to start off what I hope will be a successful thread!

Tsarskoe Selo Palaces / Imperial Family's Guest Quarters

Where would visting members of the Imperial Family and possibly royal visitors from abroad stay when in Tsarskoe Selo?  Were there apartments set aside in The Catherine Palace (besides Elizabeth's rooms and the right wing of the Alexander Palace)?  If so, where would they be located and who would have stayed there?

The recent commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz got me thinking of all of the horrible atrocities that were committed.  I remembered that Princess Mafalda of Hesse was in a concentration camp, and that she died before the Allies liberated the camp.  Can anyone shed some light on her life, her family, and why she was in a concentration camp in the first place?  Thanks in advance!

The Alexander Palace / Alexandra's Private Chapel

Granted it was off of the bedroom for Alexandra's use, but did any of the family use the room as well, or was it exclusively for Alexandra's use only?  

For those of you who have been in the palace, is the chapel even there anymore, even an entrance?  I am trying to get an idea of how large (or small) the room was, but when I have seen current pictures, it looks as if that huge black and white picture of the room would completely cover any trace of the room.

I get the feeling that this would have been a main target for vandalism etc, given the hatred against Alexandra.  I welcome anyone's ideas.  Thanks!

I have read that Queen Frederika died in Madrid during some sort of eye surgery.  Is this correct, and does anyone have any pictures from her funeral?  Was Sophia allowed to stay any longer in Greece than her brother Constantine was?  Thanks in advance!

With the topic on Mossy, I thought maybe there should a topic on Moretta.  I know that she was in love with Alexander of Battenberg (Sandro) but was not allowed to marry him.  She eventually settled on a Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe, and when he died, she married Alexander Zubkov.  Any pictures?  Any additional information someone can provide? Thanks!

I apologize if this post should be somewhere else, but I could not find the topic.  I have read that there was a painting of Princess Alice in the Mauve Room, but have never seen it.  Does anyone know what painting this was, and is it possible to see?  Did Alix has any portraits of any other family members (i.e. British, like Uncle Leopold) in the room?  Thanks in advance!

Considering the hype that surrounded royal marriages in the 1800s, what kind of jewelry was the Grand Duchess given upon her marriage?  Was Russia the kind of country, given its press, that featured pictures of these gifts in the papers, much like when Princess May of Teck married the Duke of York?  Thanks in advance.

I have read An Uncomman Woman, as well as a few other books that mention Empress Augusta, but I have found hardly any pictures of her that are not included in these books.  Thanks to the picture of Henry and Irene's wedding, I have seen another picture of her but she is sitting and she is not too clear to make out.  Does anyone have any pictures of her?  I know she was wheelchair bound towards the end.  Thanks in advance!

I have read that at one point the Empress moved to Kiev and basically lived there instead of in the capital, and that is was due to a rift with Nicholas over the influence of Rasputin in the immediate Imperial Family.  Can anyone elaborate on this?  Where did the Empress reside in Kiev?  Thanks in advance!

I know from the color coded floor plan that Bob has on the website that Elizabeth had a set of rooms in the wing to the right of the main entrance.  Is anyone aware if there are any pictures of her rooms?  Thanks in advance!
