I was wondering if any one could help me out.

I'm still on the Biffy dunderdale Trail and was told by a friend of his that he was given the order for helping members of the royal family escape.
And not for his time in the Navy.

Between 1915 and 1917 The Russian Navy ordered 17 Canadian built subs. The last 6 were not delivered due to the political unrest in 1917 this last batch was not delivered. The first batch  delivered  were from the u.s. Electric Boat Company and were assembled at the Baltic works, and were on the navy list by June 1916 The second batch arrived in Vladivostok and were moved on trains to Nikolayev these went on the Navy list in march 1917 The AG- 26 class were made dy Canadian Vicker.
What I'm trying to find out is my Great Grand Father Richard Dunderdale was a shipowner living in i think Nikolayev he was also the Russianrepresentative for vickers .
when the second batch come in to Vladivostok he sent my great uncle as escort and interpreter for the train journey.
How can i find out more about Richards dealings i presume he was a kind of fixer but who would he have been wotking with on the Russian side

I know that vickers had built a factory on the volga at Tsartisyn it was called The Russia Artillery Works Company and had a capital of 7,500,000 dollars and that in 1913 they had orders of 5,000,000  They were making naval guns and artillery of all calibre and also Projectiles. Most of the materials were coming from the vickers works in England
I would be very great full for any help on this matter
thanks Chris.
