Anastasia Nicholaievna / Anastasia's things....

Hi everyone.

I'm planning to go to Russia next summer, and I'm very excited!

I believe they're in the Alexander Palace, but just to double check, where are Anastasia and her family's things now? For instance, where are these pictures taken?

Sorry if this has ever been posted before, I couldn't find it.

I remember reading once that Minnie confronted Nicky, saying that his brothers would have been much better Tsars, her brutal opinions on Alexandra, etc. etc.

Did Nicky ever write about this in his diary?

If anyone knows or has an actual entry, please post here!

Did Olga just wear her hair like in the pic below, in a bun, or was it cut short? If it were cut that's pretty rare for someone growing up in early Edwardian times....

I've just received Fate of the Romanovs as a gift and I love it. Anyway, I thought I'd post a funny anecdote involving Alexsy, as quoted from page 53.

"One day, at Livadia, he sent a message to the youngest sons of Grand Duchess Xena to come have tea with him; at the appointed hour they arrived, but Prince Rostislav, Alexsy's favorite cousin, was being punished and remained behind. When he saw that Rostilav was not present, Alexsy rudely told his other cousins, "You can all go home!" and walked back inside the palace."

How naughty!

When was Olga's birthday--November 3rd or november 15th? I'm kinda hoping it's the 3rd, because that would be a day before my birthday (but not the same year, of course!!) but I think it's the 15th. Please tell me what the REAL day is. I really don't understand this O.S. stuff from Wikipedia!

Alexandra Feodorovna / Alix and Princess Marie?

Hi everyone! Sorry if anyone has already posted this, I didn't see it.

I was gathering information about Alix when I found out she had a sister, Princess Marie, or "May". May died of diphtheria when she was 5, but apparently, she had Alix were very close. Does anyone have any photos of Alix and May together? I can't seem to find any!
