Olga Nicholaievna / What would you like to read about Olga?
« on: May 17, 2007, 07:48:18 PM »
First of all, I know this topic could be in the books thread, but since it's about Olga, and I'd love to hear Olga connaisseurs's opinion...

If a new book about Olga was in the works, what would you like to read? First of all: novel or biography?

About her thoughts, qualities, anecdotes, her reactions towards the events of the Revolution, being in exile? Or more of her personal life? Her reactions towards her family? Would you accept a little bit of artistic licence (within the boundaries of known historical facts about her, of course) or not?

I'd very much love to hear what you have to say!

Feel free to give your frank, sincere opinion!

Olga Nicholaievna / Olga in Waiting in Tobolsk play
« on: February 24, 2007, 04:17:29 PM »
Just wondering if any of you have ever read the script of Waiting in Tobolsk before? It's written by Norman Allen in 2005, and you can even buy it at

There's a copy distributed freely on the Net, with the first 40 pages available. I got that yesterday, and it is very interestingly written! Basically, you see that Olga is aware and disturbed by what is going on in their lives, and the interaction between Olga, her sisters, brother, and mother is really convincing...but I will not spoil the fun; read it!!
