Finally i found this discussion. This is pretty much my last hope. Is there any way I could get this book? I have tried every library in Romania, every site (even e-bay or amazon, but I can't pay, cause I don't have a credit card at a international bank, plus I can't really afford the sending taxes.). I have found some other Romanovs books, but i was so dissapointed. I'm asking desperatelly again: Is there any way I could read the book online? Or is there anyway someone could send it to me? For the last 3 months I have tried everything. Is so frustrating to want to read a book, but to also find yourself in the impossibility of doing it. My email adress is Any information is valuable to me. Thank you so much ( excuse my english)

On the first page is a photo of Tatiana in a bed, puting her medicine into a spoon. ANybody knows from what year that is? Because she looks so yong. DUt on the other hand, her hair is so maybe it was after the girls got ill and shaved their heads. So, any answer? thanks

I must say that I always liked Maria an Tatiana the most. But honestly, Maria's "angelish" beauty is nothing comparing to Tatiana's grace ...and really her antire aspect. First of all she's incredible beautiful: tall, slender, green eyed, with dark hair ahd pale skin, an her bone structure is just great...such a perfect face. In avery picture she looks so fragile...but it's that fragillity that make you feel like you want to protect her. You can tell without a doubt that she's a royalty because of the way she carys herself...with great dignity. She also har that russian coldnes in her and that maked her even more special. As much as I would like Anastasia's sweetness, I have to say that for me Tatiana is the princess.

Oh, and one more thing...I'm sure that in all her crazyness, she really got to a point where she started to believe that she was indeed tha GD Anastasia. So it's hard to judge her...because none of us knows what was inside her head...right?

I have a question. Does anyone of you have Anna Anderson's testemony? How does she say "she" escaped? I'm so corious to hear her story, because it's known that she had several mental problems. I remember a friend telling me that she claims to have gotten away preagnant...and she left her child somewhere in Bucharest. I'm really confused when it comes to this matter. So pleas help me understand this woman better. thanks so much

I was wondering the same thing to. Some of the guards were very atached by the girls and really cared about them (remember that one of the killed himself when hearding about the execution) maybe they took some pictures of themselves with the girls, in the house, or even in the garden (they were together with the girls very often during their walks). And who knows...mybe this photos still some archives.

I'm not saying that there are pictures with them DEAD...I'm saying that maybe while they were in Yekaterinburg, someone must have taken thair pictures, right? any kind of pictures....even a couple of days before their death.

its good they build an church on the spot where they were killed but i aslo wanted to see the house some day so ashame they broke it down
I always thought the same thing...the church could maybe "clean" the reputation of that place...and maybe give it a little peace.

The Final Chapter / Re: Maria or Anastasia?

I think that Olga and Tatiana have the most eistinctive features: Olga has a heart shaped head, a big forehead, and a small chin. And Tatiana's head is different too....very...."fragile"....she doesn't have her little sisters' big jaws or big chin. I really think that Maria is missing....because Anastasia's skull is too long. She has a long nose, althow maria's hear is long too. I don't's a tight one

I don't know...I really think that someone did take some pictures. Which one of you would refuse to take a picture when meeting a royalty? I don't say that there are pictures of them dead...I just say that someone did take some pictures while they were in captivity in that house.

Hy, I'm I will try to say my opinion. I don't think that this are the Romanovs either:
1. First of all: the quality of the image is too good. If you look at the oficial Romanov pictures...not even those are as clear as this one.
2. This isn't the same room...and in non of the declarations is said that they would have moved the bodyes in another room.
3. At what hour does the sun rises in that region? I suppose not too early...still, you can see the daylight...and I don't think that the executors waited so long to bury the bodyes.
4. The windows are too big and too low for that to be the first floor of the house...and I doubt that they would have moved the bodyes up-stairs in a room while waiting for the truck
Just my humble opinion
