This means that Edward VII was expected to bow to his newphew Willhelm II wonder what he felt about that? and also you said that when Alexandra became a queen herself she no longer had to courtsy as she was equal rank does that mean that Empress Fredrick no longer had to bow to her mother queen victoria?

During Queen Victoria's reign her daugter became Empress Fredric, her grandson became kaiser Willhelm II and her granddaugther became Tsarina what i'm getting to is was Queen Alexandra obliged to courtsy to these people and if so how would she have felt bowing to a german who she so much loathed?

Thanks in advance

I heard the story of when Felix and Irina went to america and her jewels were confiscated i want to know what happened to the jewels, did america keep them or were they retured to russia and why did american customs confiscate them in the first palce when they knew that there might have been a chance that by returing the jewels to russia they might be sold off.

Thanks in advance

I have read some of the forums here and I keep reading that Dona treated her mother in law empress vicky quite badly what was the reason for this? was it because the kasier hated his mother so Dona did the same or was their another reason for it? :)
